Chris Evans’ time as Captain America may be over, but that hasn’t stopped the Avengers star from speaking his mind on what he considers to be wrong and recently called out Donald Trump for his picture with a child who survived the El Paso shooting.
As we all know, last Saturday a gunman, since identified as Patrick Wood Crusius, committed a mass shooting at a Walmart in El Paso, Texas. He has since been charged with capital murder. The FBI is currently investigating the shooting as a possible hate crime and as an act of domestic terrorism. Donald Trump recently visited El Paso and met a two-month-old survivor of the shooting and took a picture with the baby in a way that has many people, including Avengers star Chris Evans, outraged.
The picture is, of course, of Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump taking a picture with the child in El Paso. Disconcertingly, both Donald Trump and Melania Trump are grinning ear to ear with the former giving a thumbs up. In his Tweet, Avengers star Chris Evans was at a loss for words:
I don’t even have the words. How dare this man. https://t.co/VVmaEPmmfE
