The Avengers: Doomsday cast has officially assembled! The first official set photo from the MCU’s latest production brings some iconic heroes to the forefront.
Fans have been eagerly waiting Avengers: Doomsday to officially begin filming. While production “started” on the film nearly a month ago, that seemingly didn’t involve most of the cast, with basically every set photo released showing empty sets being built for the MCU’s Multiverse Saga capstone. This left everyone involved in the media space with many, many more questions than answers.
Yet as the calendars are officially turned over to May, so too does filming start on Avengers: Doomsday. And as if to solidify that, yes, production is in full swing, Marvel has released a set photo of some of the MCU’s biggest stars assembled to begin filming. This includes some of the oldest faces in the franchise’s cast, like Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Hemsworth, and some actors that have yet to even make their debut, such as Vanessa Kirby and Ebon Moss-Bachrach.

The Cast Of Avengers: Doomsday’s Movie Night
Yet it seems the cast of Avengers: Doomsday had some bonding to do before filming began in earnest. Another set photo was released showing select members of the group watching Thunderbolts. This includes Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Winston Duke, Paul Rudd, Channing Tatum, Anthony Mackie, and Simu Liu. And it certainly seems as though they had a good time with their experience!

Of course, not every member of the Avengers: Doomsday cast are present in that set photo. The most obvious exception are the Thunderbolts stars themselves, who are busy doing promotion for their own MCU outing. Though with filming finally picking up, it’s likely that more and more images featuring the franchise’s mightiest heroes will be hitting the web soon.
