The MCU is getting a lot more dangerous for mutants! Set photos from Avengers: Doomsday suggest that Sentinels may finally make their return to the silver screen.
The Avengers: Doomsday set photos have given fans a lot to chew on already when it comes to speculation about the MCU’s upcoming blockbuster. Fans believe that the first batch to hit the net has officially revealed fans’ first look at the Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters. However, the school may not be the only thing the X-Men are bringing with them into the crossover. They’re also bringing in the Sentinels.
This comes from the latest set photos from user UnBoxPHD. In the pics, fans can see giant legs and hips laid out across a destroyed battlefield. Given the X-Men are already confirmed to appear in Avengers: Doomsday, these seem to all-but confirm that the Sentinels will be making their appearance in the MCU. Or, at the very least, something of a similar size and build will be taking their place in the project.

Are Sentinels In Avengers: Doomsday?
Of course, these set photos don’t mean anything. Perhaps they simply gave Ant-Man the ol’ Captain Carter for how bad Quantumania was. However, a video released alongside these set photos seems to confirm that these limbs do, in fact, come from the previously speculated X-Men school set in Avengers: Doomsday. It also seems to reveal that the robots have a blue torso, almost perfectly matching that of the Sentinels in the comics.
It’s likely that the Sentinels won’t actually be practical when filming on these sets start. More likely than not, these are simply static props for actors to interact with during the production of Avengers: Doomsday, with any moving Sentinels being created with CGI. Regardless, these set photos are enough to get any X-Men fan excited, and may serve as a tease to come for the team in the MCU’s Mutant Saga.
