‘Avengers: Endgame’ Directors Reveal What Happened To Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk

Avengers Endgame‘s directors have revealed what happened to the personality of Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk during the film’s time jump.

One of Avengers: Endgame‘s more surprising moments was how it treated Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk character. In Avengers: Infinity War, the Incredible Hulk would not come out to fight for reasons that were not made clear. However, it was revealed that after the time skip in Endgame, Bruce Banner had worked tirelessly to figure out how to resolve the issues the two conflicting personalities had. The end result of this was a character with Bruce Banner’s apparent brains and personality but the size and strength of the Hulk.

This new development has led some to speculate that the personality of the Hulk was completely destroyed during this merger. According to the Russo Brothers, however, this is and isn’t the case. During a quarantine watch party from Comicbook.com, the directors revealed that, in their minds, the two personalities actually merged and created something new altogether:

What did you all think of this change to Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk? Would you rather have seen a more traditional version of the character in Avengers: Endgame? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
