Producer Barbara Muschietti has revealed that news on Ezra Miller’s The Flash movie is coming very soon.
Ezra Miller has been attached to standalone movie for The Flash ever since the actor signed on to do Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The project has famously gone through several directors in an effort to get The Flash back on the big screen over the years. IT director Andy Muschietti is the latest director attached to The Flash who has teased that it will be, “a different version of Flashpoint.”
Not much else is known besides Ezra Miller being the only actor signed on for The Flash and the film’s summer 2022 release date. However, the The Flash star was also in some hot water after a video surfaced of him seemingly chocking a woman back in April. The video has led to speculation that Miller might be recast in the role, but the actor is currently not under investigation for the incident. On Instagram, producer Barbara Muschietti shared an update on The Flash in the comments by revealing news on the project is coming very soon. Ezra Miller’s The Flash was last seen in Justice League:
Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
Directed by Zack Snyder, the film stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, J. K. Simmons, and Ciarán Hinds.
