An actor revealed a behind-the-scenes photo from Peacemaker, teasing a cut cameo from Ben Affleck’s Batman.

The first Season Finale of HBO Max’s original series Peacemaker dropped earlier this week, and fans were left buzzing from the way series creator James Gunn concluded the story. For one, it satisfied numerous arcs for the show’s main characters, particularly that of John Cena’s titular antihero. Also, the finale went viral for its surprise appearance from four members of the Justice League: Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash and Aquaman. Both Ezra Miller and Jason Momoa reprised their roles, whereas the other two heroes were kept in the shadows. Notably absent were Ben Affleck’s Batman and Ray Fisher’s Cyborg.
As it turns out, there may have been cameos featuring Ben Affleck’s Batman and Ray Fisher’s Cyborg planned for the Peacemaker finale. Actor Matt Turner shared a photo in which he is wearing the Ben Affleck Batman suit preparing to shoot a cameo for the finale. Here is his official description on his Instagram post:
“After that epic #peacemaker finale I can finally post this. Sadly I(& Cyborg) were cut from the final edit. Why? Only @jamesgunn & @warnerbrosentertainment know that. While it’s disappointing to be scrubbed out, this was still a blast, and a dream come true to wear the suit!!! Big thanks to everyone involved!!”

It’s interesting to see that we could’ve gotten a more complete Justice League in the Peacemaker finale. Although both Ben Affleck’s Batman and Ray Fisher’s Cyborg do not appear, it’s fascinating to see that they could’ve been seen standing alongside the other four. At this moment, we have no idea why they were scrubbed from the episode, but seeing this set photo is quite fascinating.

Clint Mansell and Kevin Kiner also composed the DCEU show’s score.
