‘Big Hero 6’ Animated Series Official Teaser Released

Disney XD has released the official teaser trailer for 'Big Hero 6: The Series', a television sequel to Disney's 2014 hit feature film.

Last year Disney announced that it had begun development on Big Hero 6: The Series, an animated television series follow-up to the Academy Award winning feature film. Now, Disney XD has released an official teaser for the upcoming show.

The 14 second teaser does not include any footage from the series, but it does feature Baymax in cookie form humming until being quickly eaten away, revealing the series logo on the plate. A glass of milk on the top right corner is also consumed, revealing the Disney XD logo.

While details on the series are slim, the show will follow the continuing adventures of Hiro and his robot friend Baymax. Several actors from the feature film, including Marvel Comics legend Stan lee, will reprise their roles for the show.

The Big Hero 6 feature film grossed $657.8 million at the worldwide box office and won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature.

Kim Possible creators Mark McCorkle and Bob Schooley will serve as executive producers on the show.
