The Rock, who has Hawaiian heritage, returned to his ancestral home to wed the love of his life. Dwayne Johnson, at 47, has now married Lauren Hashian, at 30, after the two met in 2006, while he was filming Game Plan. They have two children: Jasmine (3 years old) and Tiana (16 months old). Although they are just now tying the knot, both Dwayne Johnson and Lauren Hashian have affectionately called each other husband and wife previously. Now, it’s official!

Dwayne Johnson recently starred in Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw, and will soon be taking a turn to superheroics with Black Adam, a movie serving as a prequel to much of the DC Extended Universe showcasing a much more ruthless and borderline villainous take on a superhero than the setting has had so far. Black Adam is expected to begin production in 2020.

Black Adam is in development at DC Films. The movie will star Dwayne Johnson and will be directed by Jaume Collet-Serra. In the meantime, fans can watch Zachary Levi’s first Shazam! film (which features references to Black Adam’s mythology) on all home media formats. Here’s the official synopsis:

We all have a superhero inside us, it just takes a bit of magic to bring it out. In Billy Batson’s (Angel) case, by shouting out one word—SHAZAM!—this streetwise 14-year-old foster kid can turn into the adult Super Hero Shazam (Levi), courtesy of an ancient wizard. Still a kid at heart—inside a ripped, godlike body—Shazam revels in this adult version of himself by doing what any teen would do with superpowers: have fun with them! Can he fly? Does he have X-ray vision? Can he shoot lightning out of his hands? Can he skip his social studies test? Shazam sets out to test the limits of his abilities with the joyful recklessness of a child. But he’ll need to master these powers quickly in order to fight the deadly forces of evil controlled by Dr. Thaddeus Sivana (Strong).

Directed by David F. Sandberg, Shazam! stars Zachary Levi, Asher Angel, Mark Strong, Jack Dylan Grazer, Grace Fulton, Faithe Herman, Ian Chen, Jovan Armand, Cooper Andrews, Marta Milans and Djimon Hounsou.

Shazam! is now available on Digital HD, 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD. Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for the latest news on Dwayne Johnson, Zachary Levi, Black Adam, and the Shazam! sequel!
