RUMOR: Blade May Make His MCU Debut On A Hulu Series

Blade Hulu Marvel MCU

MCU Cosmic reports Blade is rumored to make his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut on a Hulu series.

While Marvel Studios’ has yet to officially announce its post-Avengers: Endgame plans for the film corner of the cinematic universe, Hulu is set to add a Ghost Rider and Helstrom series to its lineup of MCU shows. However, Cosmic News reports that Hulu and Marvel may be planning to introduce several more supernatural characters to the streaming service and a “reliable source” allegedly informed the outlet that Blade could be one of those horror-centric heroes.

Marvel regained the screen rights to Blade in recent years and since then fans have clamoring to see the vampire hunter join the MCU. While the possibility of a Blade standalone film may not be out of the question, the outlet speculates Hulu is where the character is likely to make his MCU debut, especially after the trademarking of Spirits of Vengeance, in which the vampire hunter appeared.

The Runaways have left their homes (and evil parents) behind and now have to learn to live on their own. As they scavenge for food, search for shelter, and take care of one another, our kids begin to realize that, for better or worse, they’re stuck with each other. And it’s up to them to take down PRIDE once and for all. But someone sent a mysterious message to Jonah… Is there a mole in the Runaways? Meanwhile PRIDE is focused on finding their children, and Jonah has his own dangerous plan in mind.

Marvel’s Runaways is executive produced by Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage alongside Marvel’s Head of Television, Jeph Loeb. Fake Empire’s Lis Rowinski is producing as well. The series is a co-production with ABC Signature Studios.
