Disney Chief Bob Iger Expects Future Marvel Studios Film’s To Be Announced This Summer

Disney’s Chairmen and Chief Executive Officer, Bob Iger, has divulged that he expects for Marvel Studios to officially announce future film’s this summer.

Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The Walt Disney Company, Bob Iger, has been vocal of his support of Marvel Studios and the cinematic universe the company has succeeded in creating. Now, Bob Iger, appears to confirm that announcements for Marvel Studios’ upcoming films will be arriving as early as this summer. This news correlates to recent comments made by Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige regarding Spider-Man: Far From Home.

Many had assumed that Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame would be the end to Marvel Studios’ Phase 3, but that isn’t actually the case. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has previously stated that Spider-Man: Far From Home will end Phase 3 for Marvel Studios. Therefore, news of Marvel Studios’ Phase 4 being announced this summer makes perfect sense. Bob Iger kept mum on what heroes we could see going forward but had this to say about the future of Marvel Studios:

“There are huge opportunities, there are many many different directions that we can go.”

 Disney has helped expand the Marvel Cinematic Universe ever since it gained rights to help Marvel distribute these characters on film. Disney CEO, Bob Iger is as excited as some fans for what will come next in the MCU. Bob Iger has stated before that all thanks goes to the fans for the success of Marvel Studios and he should give them a good gift this summer with the announcements to come.
