Captain Marvel star Brie Larson has confirmed that she auditioned for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story years ago.
Brie Larson hasn’t been shy about her love for the Star Wars franchise. The Captain Marvel star also recently revealed on her YouTube channel that she auditioned for roles in both the Star Wars and Terminator franchises. Many assumed Larson’s audition was for the role of Rey in The Force Awakens, but it was actually for Rogue One.
On a recent episode of Animal Talking, Captain Marvel star Brie Larson and Gary Whitta were both talking about the level of secrecy that surrounds Disney projects when the topic of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story came up:
“Oh yeah! You wrote Rogue One, right? I auditioned for that, I didn’t get it.”
