Bumblebee Optimus Prime

Paramount Pictures’ upcoming Bumblebee has released a new preview of the trailer that will air tomorrow and it features plenty of Transformers action, including a few appearances by Optimus Prime.

Bumblebee will be the first character from the Transformers franchise to headline his own solo movie, which will hit theaters this December. Given the disappointing box office results of last year’s Transformers: The Last KnightBumblebee currently holds the future of the franchise on its shoulders.

Fans have been waiting months for more footage from Bumblebee and now it appears that a full trailer is only one day away. Paramount recently released a short teaser for tomorrow’s trailer and it isn’t just full of recycled footage from the trailer released earlier this summer. Check out the trailer preview below, which gives fans a glimpse at some more Transformers, Cybertron, and the most iconic Autobot of them all, Optimus Prime.

The fan response towards footage from Bumblebee has been pretty positive so far, especially due to the source material-accurate robot designs,  but the film’s release date could pose a problem for the titular yellow Autobot. The film is currently slated to release on December 21st, which is the same day that both Aquaman and Alita: Battle Angel hit theaters.

It also has to go up against Mary Poppins Returns, which opens just a couple days prior to Bumblebee, as well as Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and Mortal Engines which both open the week prior. We’ll be sure to keep you updated on all news regarding Bumbleebee as soon as more information becomes available.
