Captain America Easter Egg Found In ‘Once Upon A Deadpool’ Trailer

Deadpool Captain AmericaThe first official trailer for the upcoming PG-13 re-cut version of this year’s smash hit comic book film Deadpool 2 titled Once Upon a Deadpool has been released. This re-release of the sequel to the 2016 original will essentially be the same film as Deadpool 2, with the explicit language and violence removed and toned down. From the trailer, we see Ryan Reynolds as the Merc with a Mouth reading a story to Fred Savage, in the style of the classic 1987 film The Princess Bride.

Right behind Savage, you can see a wide variety of items on a nightstand such as food, but the most eye-catching of items is the Captain America action figure he has. The figure can be quite hard to see since it is not in focus and the figure is not standing upright, so his iconic star on his chest is not visible. But if you look close enough, you will be able to see the patriotic hero in all of his glory.
