It seems the various Marvel directors are a bit closer then we might have imagined as the directors of Captain Marvel stated that they received very helpful advice from Russo Brothers of Avengers: Endgame.
During a recent interview, the Captain Marvel directors talked a bit about the influence Anthony and Joe Russo had over their film. According to director Ryan Fleck, the Avengers directors gave them advice on things they never even thought of and had nothing but positive things to say about the two of them:
Joe and Anthony, they were so helpful to us. They were giving us advice on things we wouldn’t even think we needed advice on. It was great, they’re great collaborators. They’ve made four of these movies now, and they’re just good guys and great directors.
