‘Captain Marvel’ LEGO Figure Reveals First Look Skrull Leader

Captain Marvel Skrull Ben Mendelsohn The first look at Skrull leader Talos from the upcoming Captain Marvel film in LEGO form has been revealed on social media.

The next Marvel film is set to introduce The Skrulls, an advanced shapeshifting alien race known for the Kree-Skrull War in the comics, led by Ben Mendelsohn’s Talos. The LEGO Minifigure revealed on Instagram by ninjawhip gives us our first look at how Talos will appear in the film. Check it out below!

The film starring Brie Larson tells the origin of Captain Marvel aka Carol Danvers, a test pilot in the comics who gained super strength and the ability to fly after being caught in an explosion with a Kree device. The film will take place during the 1990s and feature appearances from younger versions of Marvel characters such as Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury, and Clark Gregg’s Agent Coulson.

Directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, Captain Marvel stars Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Djimon Hounsou, Lee Pace, Lashana Lynch, Gemma Chan, Algenis Perez Soto, Rune Temte, McKenna Grace, Clark Gregg, and Jude Law.

Based on the Marvel comic character first appearing in 1968, the story follows Carol Danvers as she becomes one of the universe’s most powerful heroes when Earth is caught in the middle of a galactic war between two alien races. Set in the 1990s, “Captain Marvel” is an all-new adventure from a previously unseen period in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Captain Marvel will be released in theaters on March 8, 2019.
