Charlie Cox’s Daredevil: Born Again has an official production start date.

Daredevil: Born Again is set to begin filming on February 6, 2023, according to a new listing on the Film and Television Industry Alliance website. Charlie Cox recently revealed that the Born Again shoot is expected to last eleven months, making it one of Marvel’s longest productions to date.

Born Again reunites Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock and Vincent D’Onofrio’s Wilson Fisk for the first time since the shocking cancellation of Marvel’s Daredevil on Netflix. The two have already made appearances in Marvel Cinematic Universe projects like Spider-Man: No Way Home, Hawkeye and She-Hulk. The Daredevil revival consists of eighteen episodes.

The people behind the new Daredevil series

Little is known of Daredevil: Born Again, with plot details being kept under wraps. Margarita Levieva, Sandrine Holt and Michael Gandolfini are set to appear in the series opposite Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio. Matt Corman and Chris Ord are writing and executive producing for Marvel.

Born Again is rumored to feature the return of Matt Murdock’s best friend and business partner Foggy Nelson, played by Elden Henson. Earlier this year, Deborah Ann Woll also expressed her interest in reprising the role of Karen Page for the Disney Plus series. Karen and Foggy were two of the main characters of the original Daredevil series on Netflix, working alongside Matt.

Daredevil: Born Again is currently scheduled to premiere in Spring 2024 on Disney Plus. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content!
