Elden Henson is reportedly set to reprise the role of Foggy Nelson in Marvel Studios’ upcoming Disney Plus series Daredevil: Born Again.
Henson previously played Foggy throughout the Netflix Daredevil series, as well as in The Defenders and cameo roles in Jessica Jones and Luke Cage. Given that Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio are set to return as Matt Murdock and Kingpin respectively, it is not surprising to hear Henson is also set to return as Matt’s close friend and partner.
Together, Matt Murdock and Foggy Nelson established the law firm at which their characters worked throughout the Netflix series. It looks like the firm of Nelson and Murdock is about to open for business once more.
Nelson & Murdock Back In Action
While fans had been uncertain about the canonicity of Netflix’s Daredevil in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the returning cast for Born Again appears to confirm the previous series took place in the same continuity as the rest of the MCU – even if the new series is something of a fresh start.
Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock has already been seen still practising law in the MCU, appearing in Spider-Man: No Way Home as Peter Parker’s lawyer. It was unlikely Born Again would see him returning without Elden Henson’s Foggy Nelson at his side. A new report apparently confirms this is the case.
According to reliable scooper Daniel Richtman, Foggy will be back for Daredevil: Born Again with Elden Henson reprising the role. There is no word yet on whether Deborah Ann Woll’s Karen Page is also returning, though it looks like Marvel Studios is hoping to reunite all of the old Daredevil cast.
Little is known of Daredevil: Born Again, with plot details being kept under wraps, but the series’ 18-episode first season will make it Marvel’s biggest Disney Plus venture to date.
Charlie Cox can next be seen as Daredevil in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. Here is the show’s synopsis:
“She-Hulk: Attorney at Law follows Jennifer Walters as she navigates the complicated life of a single, 30-something attorney who also happens to be a green 6-foot-7-inch superpowered hulk.”
Marvel Studios’ She-Hulk: Attorney at Law stars Tatiana Maslany, Mark Ruffalo, Tim Roth, Benedict Wong, Ginger Gonzaga, Josh Segarra, Jameela Jamil, Jon Bass, and Renée Elise Goldsberry.
New episodes of She-Hulk: Attorney At Law premiere every Thursday on Disney Plus, while Daredevil: Born Again is set to arrive in 2024. Stay tuned for all the latest news on the upcoming MCU series, and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content.
