A new rumor circulating online suggests Charlie Cox will return as Daredevil opposite Tom Holland in Spider-Man 3.
It’s been two years since audiences last saw Charlie Cox as Daredevil in the critically acclaimed Netflix series, but a new rumor suggests he’ll return to the role in Spider-Man 3. It’s been a surprising week for fans of Tom Holland’s Wall-Crawler, as Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield are expected to return as their respective versions of Peter Parker in the upcoming sequel. Presumably, they’ll make their appearances via Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange – since he’ll play something of a mentor role to Holland’s Parker.
A new report from Murphy’s Multiverse (who’ve been accurate on numerous occasions) suggests Charlie Cox’s Daredevil has been brought back into the fold for Spider-Man 3. Since Peter was unmasked at the end of Far From Home, fans have long speculated that Matt Murdock could offer some legal help to the Web-Slinger. There’s no further information from the site, but given that the sequel is obviously bringing in numerous former Marvel actors, Cox would be a welcome addition to the cast.
