Warner Bros. has changed tactics for Christopher Nolan’s Tenet and the film will now screen in New York and Los Angeles at drive-in theaters.
Christopher Nolan’s Tenet has been one of the many films delayed numerous times due to the ongoing pandemic, and even after Warner Bros. decided for different release tactic, audiences in New York and Los Angeles were left out due to understandable concerns over the coronavirus. Warner Bros. CEO Ann Sarnoff defended the studio’s approach with Tenet explaining that this unique situation is a marathon, not a sprint.
While Tenet has been available in most cities across the United States, theaters in Los Angeles and New York remained closed. However it was announced by Warner Bros. that Tenet will screen at drive-in theaters in both cities. The film can currently be seen around Los Angeles, with drive-ins screening the film in San Diego, San Francisco, Oakland and Orange County.
