Dan DiDio made his first public statement on his departure from DC Comics.
Last week, it was reported that Dan DiDio was no longer with DC Comics as co-publisher after serving in the role since 2010. While DC Comics has not made any comments on his exit, Dan DaDio made his first statement on the news on his official Facebook page.
In the Facebook post, Dan DiDio noted that he was overwhelmed and humbled by the support he’s received in the wake of his exit from DC Comics. The former DC Comics co-publisher included a video of a speech he gave almost five years ago to summarize his feelings, noting that he’s currently at a loss for words:
Overwhelmed and humbled by the outpouring of love and support and it leaves me at a loss for words (first time for everything). So, instead, I’ll turn to what was said nearly five years ago on April 10, 2015 to best sum up how I feel. Love to you all
