Is Muse truly the big bad of Daredevil: Born Again? Set photos suggest that the upcoming villain is set to return in season 2 of the series.
Muse is perhaps the most interesting element fans have yet to discover in Daredevil: Born Again. The character has played a large role in the pre-release marketing and rumor mill for the series, with his art work being the connecting motif for much of the promotional images. Despite this, the character has yet to even appear in the project despite originally being the main villain prior to the creative overhaul of the series.
This has left many to wonder what sort of fate will befall him leading into the next episodes of Daredevil: Born Again. For as prominent as Muse seemingly once was in the series, it’s clear the new direction is putting him on the secondary burner to give more spotlight to Wilson Fisk. In turn, this has led many fans to think that his storyline in the show may end up being diminished, not expecting him to play a large role in season 1, let alone season 2.
Will Muse Return In Daredevil: Born Again?
However, it seems the character may end up being more important than some fans might think. With production on season 2 of Daredevil: Born Again now in full swing, set photos have begun to leak revealing key characters and details about the plot. The most interesting of these so far is actually the trailers for the actors. The important one in relation to this story is one labeled “Stunt Muse”, suggesting the character will return in at least a capacity big enough to need a stunt performer.

Given fans don’t even know who Muse is at this point in time, his return in season 2 doesn’t spoil too much about the events of Daredevil: Born Again. However, it does show that the villain will survive his first outing in the MCU, which isn’t something that could be said about many characters that have thus far appeared in the series.
