Save ‘Daredevil’ Petition Earns Over 100,000 Signatures

Daredevil Netflix BullseyeIt seems fans are determined not to let one of Netflix’s finest go quietly as the Save Daredevil petition has earned over 100,000 signatures.

The show, as we all know, was canceled late last year after the debut of the show’s third season. This followed on the heels of the relatively unmourned ending of Iron Fist and the shocking axing of Luke Cage after their second seasons. Fans had been fearing that Daredevil would be next and these fears were justified as the show was officially canceled in November of 2018. But it seems not everyone is willing to accept that the show is over.

Several weeks ago a petition to save Daredevil was created on the website, Change.org where fans are hoping to get enough of a push to convince Netflix to bring the show back. Having recently gained the backing of Wilson Fisk himself, the Daredevil Petition has earned over 100,000 signatures as of this writing. Whether or not it will have any effect on the show coming back, however, is anyone’s guess.

What do you all make of this petition? Would you like to see Daredevil return to Netflix? Will this petition have any effect? Let us know what you think in the comments below!

Daredevil Season 3 stars Charlie Cox, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Vincent D’Onofrio, Wilson Bethel, Jay Ali, and Lesley Ann Warren.

Missing for months, Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) reemerges a broken man, putting into question his future as both vigilante Daredevil and lawyer Matthew Murdock. But when his archenemy Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) is released from prison, Matt must choose between hiding from the world, or embracing his destiny as a hero.

Daredevil Season 3 is now streaming on Netflix.

It seems like yesterday when the beginning of the new year was upon us, and the advent of having so many superhero movies hitting theaters seemed like a dream come true for every fanboy and fangirl. Even with those two films delayed, 2018 was still a massive year not just at the box office, but for the continued advancement of the genre on a number of levels. Whether it was through the cultural significance of a film like Black Panther or the exciting animated adventures of Incredibles 2 and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, there was no shortage of exciting superhero stories told on the big screen this year.

Here are the theatrical superhero films of 2018, ranked from worst to best. You can start the gallery by clicking “Next.”
