David Corenswet’s ‘Superman’ Logo Officially Revealed During CinemaCon

A vibrant new logo!

Superman: Legacy James Gunn
by Anthony Singletary on April 10, 2024

Superman finally has an official logo! The DC Studios film made a brief appearance at CinemaCon along with a video message from writer-director James Gunn.

With all the excitement surrounding Superman and the start of a new era of DC Studios, it’s easy to forget how little has actually been revealed about the film. Fans have only seen glimpses of David Corenswet’s Superman suit, the plot has been kept locked down by James Gunn, and there’s been no official logo reveal! That is until CinemaCon, where a brief mention of the project seemed to show off a design for the logo.

This design aligns closely with the emblem seen on the suit shown off by James Gunn back in February. Superman is clearly set to take heavy inspiration from the Kingdom Come comic, with the logo being a near identical match to the one from the series. However, it seems DC Studios has made the logo much more vibrant for this adaptation!

James Gunn Hypes Up Superman At Cinemacon

While CinemaCon didn’t reveal much about Superman, James Gunn did make a brief appearance along with David Corenswet and Rachel Brosnahan. While none of them were able to show up in person, a video message was played teasing amazing things for DC Studios coming very soon.

“I can’t wait to be there in Vegas with all of you next year as we kick off the summer of Superman.” James Gunn teased during Cinemacon.

“Can we disclose something? There’s a man in a cape,” David Corenswet joked in his message. “Yes, there’s at least one man in a cape. Here they heard it first”

It’s no shock that DC Studios would have big plans for Superman this summer. In a world where anything and everything can be leaked before a film releases, DC Studios co-heads James Gunn and Peter Safran likely want to get ahead of the curve by revealing things on their own terms. So while CinemaCon may not have been the most explosive event, it holds great promises for the months to come.

Superman is currently scheduled to hit theaters on July 11, 2025. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding the future of the DC Universe and make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content!
