Deadpool 3 is set to bring the titular Merc with a Mouth to the MCU through the power of the multiverse. According to a new rumor, Succession star Matthew Macfadyen will be playing an agent of the Time Variance Authority with interesting connections to Loki and She-Hulk.
It’s all but confirmed at this point that Deadpool 3 will push the multiverse to its breaking point in bringing everyone’s favorite Regenerating Degenerate to the MCU. Despite a number of recent plot leaks, details on the roles of newcomers like Succession star Matthew Macfadyen have been hard to come by. A brand new rumor from the insider CanWeGetSomeToast gives fans their first hints at the character, claiming Macfadyen will be playing an agent of the Time Variance Authority (TVA) named Paradox.
Most MCU fans likely know the TVA from their role on the Loki Disney Plus series. In the comics, the TVA has actually clashed with a number of Marvel heroes, including Deadpool and She-Hulk. It’s actually issue 3 of the 2005 She-Hulk run that features Jennifer Walters put on trial by the TVA, with one of her judges being an agent known as Paradox. While it’s not likely Matthew Macfadyen’s character will share any resemblance to his comic counterpart, fans should keep their eyes peeled for any She-Hulk easter eggs in the upcoming film.
