Is Deadpool and Wolverine going to be too long? The sequel’s final runtime reveals that the film has broken yet another record for its franchise.

With how much has come out about Deadpool and Wolverine in the past few months, fans have been waiting for official confirmation about its runtime. Too short and the film could feel overstuffed, too long and it could overstay its welcome. However, it seems Marvel has nailed the perfect runtime for the sequel, while setting a record to boot!

Deadpool and Wolverine officially has a runtime of 2 hours 7 mins and 45 seconds. This is rather brisk, at least by comic book movie standards. However, it also manages to break the record for the longest Deadpool film, with the franchise’s last sequel of Deadpool 2 clocking in at almost exactly two hours with credits.

Deadpool And Wolverine Breaks Records

It’s no secret that Marvel is breaking almost every record on the book with Deadpool and Wolverine. Even ignoring the sheer amount of cameos, the sequel has already broken records for ticket presales over a month from it being released. This has put it on track to break multiple box office records as one of the biggest movies of 2024.

Even the film’s promotional material is racking up the runtime. The first trailer for Deadpool and Wolverine quickly shot up to being Marvel’s most viewed of all time. The video revealing the sequel got 365 million views in just 24 hours, with that number only growing in the months since it was first released to the public.

Deadpool and Wolverine is currently expected to be released on July 26, 2024. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content!
