‘Deadpool And Wolverine’ Breaks Massive Ticket Record

Deadpool keeps breaking records!

Deadpool and Wolverine

Deadpool and Wolverine is already breaking records! Marvel’s upcoming film made history as tickets went on sale two months ahead of its release.

Many fans were worried when it was announced that tickets for Deadpool and Wolverine would go on sale this week. It was seen as a sign that Marvel was anxious about the film, especially if they were pushing sales two months out from release. However, it seems their gamble paid off, with the film breaking records for R-rated movies.

According to the CEO of AMC Theatres Adam Aron, over 200,000 people purchased their tickets for Deadpool and Wolverine during the first day they were on sale. This puts the Marvel movie as the record holder for most day-one ticket sales for an R-rated movie. And this only includes those who are big enough fans to buy tickets ahead of time!

Deadpool And Wolverine Are Theater Genius

The ticket rollout for Deadpool and Wolverine also came with quite a decent marketing push from Marvel. The studio put out a new trailer for the upcoming film, along with a poster pitting the two heroes at each other’s necks. The poster doesn’t even need a background to break the R-rated record, especially if you’re just counting MCU flicks.

Deadpool and Wolverine isn’t just breaking records when it comes to ticket sales. The film also stands as the longest in the trilogy by a fair margin. It will also have by far the biggest cast of any Deadpool film before it, with the project rumored to be filled with cameos from across the Marvel multiverse.

Deadpool and Wolverine is currently expected to be released on July 26, 2024. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content!
