Disney+ To Air ‘The Clone Wars’ Finale On ‘Star Wars’ Day

After the incredible return of The Clone Wars, Disney Plus will air the last episode of the series on Star Wars Day, May 4.

After fans praised the return of The Clone Wars on Disney Plus, the streaming service will air the finale of the series on Star Wars Day, May 4. The recent trailer for the last batch of episodes teased fans with what to expect from the ending of the series as the Siege of Mandalore begins and Ahsoka Tano is put on a collision course with Darth Maul. Although Ahsoka will reportedly appear in The Mandalorian‘s second season, it’ll be interesting to see how the animated Disney Plus show ends this chapter of her story.

Although the series has been airing on Disney Plus every Friday, the final episode of the series will arrive on Monday, May 4. Disney Plus is also celebrating Star Wars Day by treating fans with a behind-the-scenes documentary about The Mandalorian. Whether the finale will link into Revenge of the Sith remains to be seen, but it seems likely that the show will tease Anakin’s turn to the dark side.

Are you excited to see the finale? Do you think it should directly lead into Revenge of the Sith? Sound off in the comments below!
