Deadpool 3 has officially wrapped filming! The film’s cutest star, Dogpool, has taken to social media to celebrate the occasion.
Dogpool is set to make his big screen debut in Deadpool 3, bringing the Merc with a Bark into the MCU in what’s set to be one of the biggest Marvel projects to date. As the film wraps production, the cast and crew have taken to celebrate on social media, though perhaps none funnier than Dogpool’s actor ribbing their fellow castmates.
“That’s a wrap on my first movie!” Dogpool’s actor wrote on Instagram. “We worked our pants off but it was worth it. Everyone on set was the utmost professional, especially Shawn Levy and Hugh Jackman.”
“And a super-hero big bow-wow-WOW to the entire crew. No matter the challenge, you rose to the task and made it look easy. I wouldn’t change a thing. Except maybe one person who was a little extra to deal with. But don’t worry, l’ve forgiven him. I even left him a very special warm, personal gift in his trailer.”
Aside from the scatological jab at a certain unnamed cast member, it’s glad to see Dogpool had an amazing time on the set of Deadpool 3. The project seems to be shaping up to be one of the most heartfelt in MCU history despite the spectacle, and is certainly going to be a contender for biggest film of 2024!
Who else is attached to the Deadpool threequel?
Shawn Levy is directing Deadpool 3 after working with Ryan Reynolds on Free Guy and The Adam Project. The upcoming Marvel Studios project also marks a reunion between Levy and Hugh Jackman as the two worked together on Real Steel.
Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick are developing the Deadpool 3 script after penning the first two installments in the series. The Molyneux sisters worked on a previous draft of the project.
