Dwayne Johnson has shared a brand new set of behind-the-scenes photos from Black Adam that detail the film’s lengthy VFX production.
Black Adam is finally set to release after years of development. The DC passion project for lead star Dwayne Johnson has been in development for almost a decade. Filming on the character’s debut film was completed late last year and the project is now going through copious amounts of post-production to accommodate the intense visual effects.
Dwayne Johnson is no stranger to showing off the behind-the-scenes aspects and processes of his films, so it’s no surprise that he’s given DC fans a peek into the film’s intense VFX production. Taking to Instagram, the Black Adam star shared photos of him in a filming booth, dubbed “the egg”. Johnson mentions that he can only move his eyes, heads, and shoulders for the sequence, which are being shot for the scenes where Black Adam is a slave.
The star says that he was sitting in the booth for 10 hours working on the “extremely complicated sequences” but that it would all be worth it for when Black Adam hits cinemas later this year.
