Dwayne Johnson has released a new piece of Black Adam promotional art ahead of the trailer’s release.
The road to Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam film has been an incredibly long one. Rumors of the actor’s involvement in the DC Extended Universe stretched all the way back to casting rumors surrounding Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. As things progressed eventually the actor got his own solo film featuring the iconic anti-hero.
Since the film officially went into development, it went through a number of delays. This was due to Dwayne Johnson’s busy schedule, the Covid-19 pandemic, and a number of reshoots and extra time needed to properly do the visual effects work. Earlier this year, footage for Black Adam debuted at Cimenacon but was not released to the public. Last week, Johnson revealed that the first official trailer for Black Adam would be released on June 8th. While the trailer is still a week away, the actor isn’t letting us forget about his character.
In a recent post, Dwayne Johnson shared a new piece of Black Adam promotional art, giving us a new look at the character. In the post he once again teased the June 8th release date, tagging him as the Man in Black as well as his production company. You can see the full post below:
