Dwayne Johnson made it clear he knows fans want to see Henry Cavill’s Superman show up in Black Adam.
DC fans are eager to see Henry Cavill suit up as Superman again, despite his last appearance being in 2017’s Justice League. The future of Superman in the DC Extended Universe is a huge mystery that might finally be answered in next year’s The Flash. However, Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam might be one way Cavill’s Superman returns.
Will Henry Cavill Show Up In Black Adam?
Dwayne Johnson has previously shared that he’s confident Black Adam will face Superman in the future. Whether or not it will be with or without Henry Cavill’s Man of Steel remains to be seen, but Johnson once again shared on Twitter that he knows it’s what the fans want:
“From back in the day when I was wrestling in flea markets for $40 bucks a match, all the way to now. I’ve learned to always listen to the audience because they will always lead you to where you need to go. I hear you & I always got you.”
Here is the synopsis for Black Adam:
Nearly 5,000 years after he was bestowed with the almighty powers of the ancient gods—and imprisoned just as quickly—Black Adam (Johnson) is freed from his earthly tomb, ready to unleash his unique form of justice on the modern world.
Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra from a script written by Adam Sztykiel and Rory Haines & Sohrab Noshirvani, the DCEU film stars Dwayne Johnson, Aldis Hodge, Noah Centineo, Sarah Shahi, Marwan Kenzari, Quintessa Swindell, Bodhi Sabongui, and Pierce Brosnan.
