The upcoming Disney Plus Star Wars series Ahsoka has officially found its Ezra Bridger in the form of Eman Esfandi.

Ezra Bridger was first introduced in the animated series Star Wars Rebels and fans have been expecting to see the character make his live-action debut in Ahsoka since the series was announced. It was revealed at this year’s Star Wars Celebration that many other Rebels characters would be appearing in Ahsoka.

Star Wars Rebels ended with Ezra missing, setting Ahsoka Tano and Sabine Wren on a mission to find their lost friend. Fans are expecting to see this story continued in Ahsoka.

Ahsoka Finds Its Ezra

This latest casting announcement appears to confirm Ahsoka will resolve the story Star Wars Rebels set up, with Ezra Bridger officially joining the Disney Plus series.

In Star Wars Rebels, Ezra was voiced by Taylor Gray. For his live-action debut in Ahsoka, the character will be portrayed by Eman Esfandi, joining Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka Tano and Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren.

Ezra vanished into hyperspace along with the villainous Grand Admiral Thrawn in Star Wars Rebels. When Ahsoka first appeared in live action in The Mandalorian, she was seen asking the sinister Magistrate for the location of Thrawn, suggesting he may also play a role in Ahsoka.

This casting news appears to confirm that Ahsoka and the remaining crew of the Ghost will be reunited with Ezra Bridger in the new Star Wars series. Where Ezra has been, how he is found and how large a role he will play in Ahsoka will all be revealed when the series arrives next year.
