The Flash producer Barbara Muschietti shared a set photo from the Ezra Miller film.
Next summer, Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Films will be debuting their long-awaited standalone film, The Flash. The film, which stars Ezra Miller as the Scarlet Speedster, will further explore the Multiverse concept within the context of DC Comics and will finally give Barry Allen his first live-action theatrical film.
A snapshot from just a year ago.
Barbara Muschietti, a producer on the film, shared a photo on her official Instagram of her brother, Andy Muschietti on the set of the film as director. One can notice that he is shown masked with a headset on, while he’s in focus, behind him out-of-focus looks to be an individual donning Ezra Miller‘s suit as The Flash. You can check it out down below:
Directed by Andy Muschietti from a script written by Birds of Prey scribe Christina Hodson, The Flash is inspired by the Flashpoint comic book storyline, which followed Barry Allen as he navigated an altered DCEU. Written by Geoff Johns and penciled by Andy Kuber, Flashpoint radically altered the status of the DC Comics universe and led to the launch of the New 52 titles.
In addition to Ezra Miller, The Flash also features Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck as two separate versions of Batman, Ron Livingston as Henry Allen, Maribel Verdú as Nora Allen, Kiersey Clemons as Iris West, Michael Shannon as General Zod, Antje Traue as Faora-Ul and Sasha Calle as Supergirl. Saoirse-Monica Jackson, Rudy Mancuso, and Luke Brandon Field are also on board in undisclosed roles.
The Flash is currently set for release on June 23, 2023. Stay tuned for all the latest news on the film, updates regarding Ezra Miller’s upcoming film, and subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content.
