Fantastic Four comic book writer Dan Slott thinks Riverdale star KJ Apa would be a great Johnny Storm in the upcoming MCU reboot.
Marvel Studios is keeping the future of the MCU underwraps, but it is presumed that the studio will announce their upcoming slate of films next month at San Diego Comic Con. Marvel Studios also recently re-acquired the rights to the Fantastic Four and X-Men. Kevin Feige recently said that they are currently brainstorming what to do with the characters, so they shouldn’t expect any type of announcement at Comic Con.
This news hasn’t stopped fans and comic book creators from fan casting who could play the iconic Marvel characters. A popular name that is thrown around for a lot of comic book movie roles is Riverdale star KJ Apa. Fantastic Four comic book writer Dan Slott has now shared on Twitter that he thinks Riverdale‘s KJ Apa would be a great casting choice for Johnny Storm:
