Gal Gadot has stated that she would like Zack Snyder to finish and release his version of Justice League if he is able to do so.
The Wonder Woman 1984 actress was recently interviewed about her upcoming movie by CinePop, but the conversation veered toward Zack Snyder’s unfinished version of Justice League that the studio opted to extensively reshoot and cut down. Gal Gadot gave a diplomatic answer about whether or not that version of the film has a future:
“I don’t know. I think that the movie suffered from very unfortunate and sad circumstances. I would have loved to see the finished cut of [Zack Snyder], and I hope that one day we’ll get to see it, but I don’t know.”

The completed version of Justice League lost millions of dollars for the studio, and since then, DC Films have largely decided to move on from Zack Snyder’s influence; a move that has produced profitable results for the company. Nonetheless, demands to see a completed version of Zack Snyder’s original Justice League have amped up as of late, which may warrant eventual studio action. Even still, Gal Gadot has no ability to make that call.
Here’s the official synopsis for Justice League:
Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
Directed by Zack Snyder, Justice League stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, J. K. Simmons, Amber Heard and Ciarán Hinds.
Justice League is now available on Blu-Ray, DVD and Digital HD.
