Jack Quaid stars as Hughie Campbell in The Boys. With the series’ spin-off Gen V set to debut later this month, the show’s star Jaz Sinclair has revealed the advice he gave to the stars.
Jaz Sinclair stars as Marie Moreau in the upcoming The Boys spin-off Gen V. With these younger stars picking up the torch from Jack Quaid (who plays Hughie Campbell) and Karl Urban (who plays Billy Butcher), there’s certain to be jitters. Luckily, Sinclair revealed that Quaid gave the cast some amazing advice during filming:
“Oh yeah, Jack Quaid!. He was just like, ‘Stay a family, stay a team. This is where it’s at,” Sinclair told SFX magazine. “If you guys have each other, you’ll get through this. So, don’t lose sight of that.’ This is the real family, you know, talking about the cast and, like, really being unified. And I value that because you can feel that when they’re together.”
Sticking together as a cast is certainly vital in any show, not just Gen V. Filming a series requires long days and nights with dozens of takes for every line. Staying unified is certainly something Jack Quaid learned from The Boys, both on set and as Hughie Campbell. Hopefully, Jaz Sinclair is able to take his advice and make the new spin-off a success.
