WARNING: This article contains spoilers for Halloween

Fans should sit tight during the credits of the new Halloween film to get a tease of what is to come.

The post-credits scene has become a crucial part of the filmmaking experience as it is expected for every major franchise to tease what is to come next from the property. The enigmatic tease was developed by Marvel Studios and copied by many in the industry. So its understandable Michael Myers fans want to know if they’ll see anything toward the final moments of the new Halloween film.

The answer is no, not really. There is no scene of Jason Voorhees showing up at Myers’ apartment telling him they are putting a team together. No, unfortunately, no scene exists after the credits roll. However, the people behind the film won’t leave those hardcore fans hanging in the theaters. Myers heavy breathing has been a stigma in the series and that is exactly what moviegoers will hear if they stick around. That terrifying sound will be the final thing heard alluding to the fact that Michael Myers may return.

Directed by David Gordon Green from a script co-written by himself, Jeff Fradley and Danny McBride, the film stars Jamie Lee Curtis, Judy Greer, Andi Matichak, Will Patton, Virginia Gardner, Miles Robbins, Dylan Arnold, Drew Scheid, and Nick Castle.

Halloween is in theaters now.
