The series will continue.

Halo Pablo Schreiber Master Chief Trailer

Paramount Plus’ upcoming Halo series starring Pablo Schreiber has been renewed for a second season ahead of season one’s debut.

The road to a live-action Halo adaption has been a long and complicated one. Originally an adaptation was put together by Peter Jackson in a producer role with Neill Blomkamp helming the project. Sadly it fell apart due to budget issues and the two went on to do District 9 instead. Since then, an adaption for the series has been brought up in various forms for well over ten years.

Eventually, a Halo project was put into development as a Showtime series before it was moved to Paramount Plus. Pablo Schreiber of American Gods fame was eventually cast in the lead role. Earlier this year, the first official trailer for the show was released that also gave us the series’ release date. Now it appears that the executives behind it have a lot of faith in the upcoming Paramount Plus series.

According to multiple outlets including The Hollywood Reporter, the Paramount Plus Halo series starring Pablo Schreiber has been renewed for a second season. Details on the upcoming season a currently unknown but will likely be teased at the end of the first season. It is also unknown when the second season will premiere.
