‘Hellboy’, ‘Us’ Among Movies Leaving HBO Max In June

David Harbour Hellboy Guillermo Del Toro Us HBO Max

Although the streaming service has only recently launched, a number of movies like David Harbour’s Hellboy and Jordan Peele’s Us are set to leave HBO Max soon.

After analysts described HBO Max’s launch as lackluster, an extensive list of movies that it boasted will soon leave the streaming service. One of the biggest draws to the new service for fans was the announcement that the Snyder Cut of Justice League will arrive on it at some point in 2021. Surprisingly, the theatrical cut of the DC film has already been pulled from HBO Max.

Now a whole other list of titles are leaving HBO Max on June 30, including Jordan Peele’s Us and David Harbour’s Hellboy. Since Hellboy was met with a poor reception, some fans might not be disappointed to see it leave, but the Peele’s Us was a definite crowd-pleaser so it’s surprising that HBO Max is letting it leave. It’s likely that their exits from the service are to do with streaming contracts and other services. Take a look at the list of movies leaving HBO Max below.
