Justice League star Henry Cavill gets a comic book-accurate Superman hairstyle in a new concept design that reimagines the hero’s look for the DC Extended Universe.
After almost playing Kal-El in J.J. Abrams’ Superman: Flyby, Henry Cavill eventually got his shot at playing the DC Comics icon in Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel. Since then, Cavill has also played the Last Son of Krypton in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League. After Cavill’s third outing as Superman, there was some doubt that the actor would return to the role, but it’s now being reported that he is in talks to suit up as the character once again in a future DC movie.
It’s unclear what DC movie Henry Cavill’s Superman will turn up in next, but many believe it will either be the Shazam! sequel or The Flash. With the recent news that Michael Keaton is in talks to return as Batman, it’s a good time to be a DC fan. However, many are hoping Cavill will also be getting another Superman solo film and a brand new look. Recently, digital artist “Jscomicart” shared fan art that shows Cavill’s Superman adopting the classic “S” curl, which is something he hasn’t had in the DC Extended Universe yet.
