The Witcher star Henry Cavill revealed the first look at Geralt’s new armor in the second season of the Netflix series.

As The Witcher continues to film in the United Kingdom after a brief shutdown, Henry Cavill took to Instagram to reveal the first images of Geralt’s new armor in the show. Most recently, fans got a look at Ciri’s new costume as set photos surfaced online revealing Freya Allan filming scenes in a blackened forest. Although the set photos didn’t reveal a clear and detailed look at the actress behind Ciri, Henry Cavill decided to treat fans with a close up of Geralt’s new armor on Instagram.

The Witcher star Henry Cavill posted photos of the stunning new armor for the second season, which looks like it gives Geralt more protection against whatever he’ll fight in the next batch of episodes. It’s still instantly recognizable but he looks more like a soldier. It’s a little different from the previous set photo Henry Cavill posted, which showed off a bloody look for the star behind-the-scenes of the show. Take a look at Geralt’s new armor in The Witcher below.
