See Henry Cavill Step Into The Black Superman Suit For ‘Justice League’

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No! It's Superman (in the black suit)!

Justice League star Henry Cavill dons the iconic black Superman suit in a new concept design for the Zack Snyder Cut.

After the rumors of the black Superman costume in Justice League began to swirl, fans were desperate to see Henry Cavill wear the suit from the classic Death of Superman storyline by Dan Jurgens and Mike Carlin. The DC Comics story saw the hero tragically die at the hands of Doomsday, only to be revived later on in the aftermath of a number of other heroes trying to take up the Superman mantle. After Henry Cavill’s Superman died at the end of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, many fans hoped Justice League would put him in the black costume, although it didn’t end up happening in the theatrical cut.

However now that Zack Snyder is getting the chance to show off his original version of the film on the HBO Max streaming service,  we’ll finally get to see Henry Cavill with the black Superman costume. Snyder even shared a brief clip of the iconic suit with fans. A concept design from digital artist “jscomicart” on Instagram offers a high quality look at what the costume will look like on screen, showing off the silver highlights built into the suit. Take a look at Henry Cavill’s Superman in the black costume below.
