Although Henry Cavill’s future as Superman is currently in question, fans still like to imagine what his highly-anticipated return could look like. Here’s what Henry Cavill would look with the iconic Superman curl!
While Henry Cavill reportedly still wants to play Superman in future DCEU films, the actor has been rather ambiguous regarding his future as the Man of Steel. Cavill has said that he would still like to play Superman again but the 36-year-old actor has no deal to return in place. After Warner Bros. courted Henry Cavill for a cameo in the Shazam! movie, he walked away from negotiations only for his version of Superman to still be featured in the film. The production managed to get away with the lack of Henry Cavill by simply not showing Superman’s face during the character’s brief appearance at the end of the movie.
Henry Cavill will soon trade in his Superman suit to bring Geralt of Rivia to life in Netflix’s highly-anticipated adaptation adaptation of The Witcher. Rumors have also swirled suggesting that Warner Bros. will be focusing on Supergirl in the DCEU going forward instead of Superman. 22 Jump Street scribe Oren Uziel is writing the script for the Supergirl film which will be an origin story for Kara Zor-El.
Henry Cavill can be as Superman in Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League. After The Witcher, Cavill will next be seen in Enola Holmes opposite Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown.
Henry Cavill’s last appearance as Superman was in Justice League. Here is the official synopsis for the movie:
Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
Directed by Zack Snyder, Justice League stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, J. K. Simmons, and Ciarán Hinds.
