Despite the rumors regarding his role as Superman, actor Henry Cavill appears to be getting back into a similar shape for his role for ‘The Witcher’.
In a recent post on his Instagram account, the Superman actor shared a picture of himself in the gym. In it he went on a lengthy discussion about the physical journey he has gone through to get in shape and remain in shape. He also talked about other bodybuilders and the lengths they put themselves through. He also thanked the people who had helped him on this long journey.

This sadly does not confirm anything for his role as Superman and the rumors continue to persist about Henry Cavill being out of the role as part of Warner Bros. attempts to revamp the franchise. Previously actor Amy Adams commented that she seemed to think that she was done as Lois Lane but then partly recanted revealing that she hadn’t actually talked to anyone about leaving the role. Aquaman actor Jason Momoa, however, seemed to think that Henry Cavill was still in and has continued to shoot down rumors that the actor is out. But in this business, it can be hard to say what is sold fact and what is simply speculation and rumor.
This picture itself is more than likely the actor getting in shape for his role of Geralt of Rivia in the upcoming Netflix series, The Witcher. It is worth noting, however, that the protagonist has a leaner build then Henry Cavill does in this image. So perhaps a return to Superman is not out of the question.
