Today marked the 20th anniversary of the first X-Men film and Wolverine actor Hugh Jackman celebrated by sharing a behind-the-scenes video.
The explosion of Marvel movies truly began 20 years ago today when the first X-Men movie was released in theaters during the summer of 2000. X-Men launched a cinematic universe of films and a 17-year run for Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. The Fox era of the X-Men franchise will conclude when The New Mutants is eventually released as Marvel Studios takes over the franchise.
To celebrate X-Men‘s 20th anniversary, Hugh Jackman tweeted out an old behind-the-scenes video from the set of the original film. Jackman went on to share how he had to get in shape to play Wolverine in three weeks for the first film. You can check out Jackman’s post below!
