‘Ironheart ‘Adds ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ Winner Shea Couleé

RuPaul’s Drag Race winner Shea Couleé is set to appear in Marvel Studios’ Ironheart series.

After Riri Williams makes her MCU debut in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, audiences will follow her to Disney Plus with Ironheart. During San Diego Comic-Con, we got our first glimpse at Dominique Thorne’s Riri Williams in the Wakanda Forever trailer, and Kevin Feige revealed the Ironheart series is slated for fall 2023.

Filming on Ironheart is currently underway, which means the cast members of the series are starting to roll out. It’s been known for months now that Anthony Ramos would play a villain in the series, and it was recently revealed that Solo: A Star Wars Story star Alden Ehrenreich will also be part of the cast.

Ironheart‘s Cast Continues To Grow

According to Deadline, Ironheart will also feature Shea Couleé in an undisclosed role. Couleé is best known for her run on RuPaul’s Drag Race. The cast for the upcoming Marvel Studios will also star Lyric Ross, Harper Anthony, and Manny Montana.

Here is the synopsis for Riri Williams’ MCU debut in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever:

In Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett), Shuri (Letitia Wright), M’Baku (Winston Duke), Okoye (Danai Gurira), and the Dora Milaje (including Florence Kasumba), fight to protect their nation from intervening world powers in the wake of King T’Challa’s death. As the Wakandans strive to embrace their next chapter, the heroes must band together with the help of War Dog Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o) and Everett Ross (Martin Freeman) and forge a new path for the kingdom of Wakanda. Introducing Tenoch Huerta as Namor, king of a hidden undersea nation, the film also stars Dominique Thorne, Michaela Coel, Mabel Cadena, and Alex Livanalli.

Directed by Ryan Coogler from a script he co-wrote with Joe Robert Cole, the film stars Letitia Wright, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Winston Duke, Florence Kasumba, Dominique Thorne, Michaela Coel, Tenoch Huerta, Martin Freeman, and Angela Bassett.
