Solo: A Star Wars Story star Alden Ehrenreich has joined the cast of the upcoming Marvel Disney Plus series, Ironheart.
When Riri Williams first appeared in the Marvel comic universe, most predicted that she would be making her way to the Marvel Cinematic Universe sooner rather than later. That assumption was turned into reality when it was revealed that Riri Williams/Ironheard would be getting her own Disney Plus series. Since then, the cast has steadily filled out, with the lead character set to make her MCU debut in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. But now a new cast member for the upcoming film has been revealed.
Alden Ehrenreich Joins The Cast
According to a new report from Deadline, Solo: A Star Wars Story lead Alden Ehrenreich has joined the cast of the upcoming Ironheart series for a key role. Ehrenreich gained prominence thanks to his role in the Star Wars spinoff film. The movie ultimately underperformed at the box office and the actor didn’t become the breakout star that Harrison Ford became thanks to the role. Now, at long last, the actor is taking on another major Disney IP. It is currently unknown what role he will play in the upcoming show.

Directed by Ron Howard from a script written by Lawrence Kasdan and son Jon Kasdan, the film stars Alden Ehrenreich, Woody Harrelson, Emilia Clarke, Donald Glover, Thandiwe Newton, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Joonas Suotamo, and Paul Bettany.
