With all the excitement around Iron Fist and The Punisher lately, it seems like the Netflix & Marvel’s superhero team up The Defenders has taken a backseat. A new video starring one half of The Defenders came out very recently in which the upcoming projects were all discussed. Thanks to some deductive reasoning, it seems like The Defenders may be filming sooner than we anticipated – very soon, actually. You can see the video with Luke Cage‘s Mike Colter and Iron Fist‘s Finn Jones here.
In the video, it is noted that there will be roughly a three week gap between the wrap of filming for Iron Fist and the beginning of filming for The Defenders. Iron Fist had a wrap party last week, so it is most likely currently in its final week of filming. Which means that once Iron Fist is finished, we have less than a month to wait before filming for the superhero team up begins. Netflix is really moving all their projects along post haste.
