‘It: Chapter Two’ Director & Cast Celebrate As Production Wraps

The conclusion to director Andy Muschietti’s adaptation of Stephen King’s It is set to arrive in theaters next year and now production on the film has officially wrapped. It: Chapter Two star Finn Wolfhard shared a photo featuring himself and his co-stars, who portray the young versions of the principal characters, to celebrate the occasion while Andy Muschietti announced the news with an Instagram post of his own.

Twenty-seven years after the horrific events of the summer of ’89, It (Bill Skarsgård) returns. The Losers’ Club fulfill their promises and return to Derry to put an end to the shape-shifting beast.

Directed by Andy Muschietti from a script written by Gary Dauberman, the film stars Bill Skarsgård, James McAvoy, Jessica Chastain, Jay Ryan, Bill Hader, Isaiah Mustafa, James Ransone, and Andy Bean. Reprising their roles as the young versions of the main characters are Jaeden Lieberher, Sophia Lillis, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Finn Wolfhard, Chosen Jacobs, Jack Dylan Grazer, and Wyatt Oleff.

It: Chapter Two will be released in theaters on September 6, 2019.
