James Gunn revealed his biggest regret regarding the first Guardians of the Galaxy film, telling fans the one line he wished was kept in the movie.

Guardians of the Galaxy brought a brilliant dose of unique humor to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but director James Gunn recently revealed that there’s one line from Dave Bautista’s Drax that he wish he’d kept in the final film. The director revealed the line while taking part in a Quarantine Watch Party hosted by ComicBook.com, providing a commentary of the film. Gunn even teased Rocket‘s future in the third film during the watch party.

Gunn explained that when Peter Quill tells the titular team about Earth and Drax says he would like to visit the planet, there was an extra line to show off Drax’s love of violence. Dave Bautista’s brawler originally said “and kill many people there” but ultimately the line didn’t make the final cut of the film. Although the he director didn’t offer an explanation behind the line’s removal, he said it’s his biggest regret.

Do you think the line should’ve been kept in the film? What do you want to see from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3? Sound off in the comments below!
